	the default BIOS handler invokes INT 0A for compatibility, since the
	  pin for IRQ2 on the PC expansion bus became the pin for IRQ9 on the
	  AT expansion bus.

	  word at 0000h:0510h) may be assumed to be valid for the handler's
	  process
